Klosterbräu - Bamberg's oldest brewery (since 1533) with a nice restaurant at it. Good and proper meals. Bring a huge appetite and enjoy beef, sauerkraut or sausages alongside a wide selection of excellent beers.
Spezialkeller - Although keller means cellar, this place is on a hill on top of Bamberg. Here, you can enjoy great views of Dom and Altstadt from the beer garden. Famous for it's "Rauchbier" (dark, smoky and large!) you will be served with sausages, sauerkraut or knuckles of pork among many other meals.
Schlenkerla Brewery and Tavern - Located in the middle of the Old Town with great views from the beer garden. First mentioned in 1405 this place is an institution in Bamberg. Don't miss the Original Schlenkerla Smokebeer. It is tapped directly from the wooden barrel according to old tradition.
Ambräusianum Brewery - Just two houses next to Schlenkerla you can find the Ambräusanium. Very nice treatment and great veal sausages awaits you. They also serve their own beer, which is so amazing! We would recommend to enjoy a real franconian breakfast their.
